Next EDGE Corp.

Next EDGE Corporate Partners LLC developed out of a government-funded employment & training pilot program. The program was offered during the pandemic, to the hardest-hit neighborhoods in Chicago. Co-Founder, Karen DeGrasse, designed a curriculum beyond learning how to find a job. This virtual employment training, addressed employer and candidate pain points. It delivered tools and concepts on how to create a future full of new possibilities. Each day began with an inspiration-rich revival, reflection on gratitude and positive affirmations. The purpose-driven facilitators, delivered each session from the heart. Trainee testimonials and program evaluations expressed how the culture, program, and synergy had positively impacted their lives. Some trainees shared that their children witnessed a change in them, while others were able to pass down lessons on how to get a job or be promoted. Trainee employment and retention outcomes exceeded our expectations. People reported a new job, and a new mindset! We were inspired to transcend this experience beyond the initial pilot program and occasional funding. We are excited to be able to provide this value to employers to strengthen their workforce and grow their business.

Employer-Centered, Employee-Focused

Employer-Centered. The training curriculum addresses employment hiring and retention challenges from the employers perspective. The program incorporates the employers values and mission. Employees will explore the significance of their role, to better understand what value they contribute to the company and how it fits into the big picture.

Employee-Focused. Given the physical and mental stressors frontline employees experience when tasked with being the face of the company, the training focuses on providing the individual the support they need to engage and discover their full potential.
